1 box of Gumash Hair Color is ideally enough ​for fine, shoulder length hair.

If you have longer/thicker hair, kindly add 1-2 ​more boxes

Is Gumash Hair Color safe for ​pregnant ladies and ​breastfeeding ​mothers?

For pregnant ladies, we advise you to consult ​your trusted doctors as different pregnant ​ladies may have different tolerance towards ​certain ingredients.

For breastfeeding mothers, it is safe as long as ​you are not in the same room with your baby ​wh​ile you are coloring your hair.

Is Gumash Hair Color Wudhu’ ​Comp​liance?

Yes, it is, 100%!

Our Syariah Panel , Ustaz Fauwaz Fadzil (who ​is also a member of MAIWP) has thoroughly ​checked and approved that our hair colors are ​fully water permeable and wudhu’ ​compliance!

What are the tips BEFORE we colo​r our ​hair?

1. Wash your hair thoroughly with shampoo ​(double shampoo would be great!). You ​may follow up with a tiny amount of Hair ​Conditioner to detangle your hair after ​shampoo.
2. Do not use any Hair Mask or Hair Serum or ​Hair Oil before you color your hair.
3. Wait for your hair to be 100% dry. You may ​use a hair dryer.
4. If you have long hair, it is a good idea to ​section your hair using clips or hair ties for ​even distribution when you apply the hair ​co​lor.
   

I have colored my hair before this ​but I did not see any color on it. ​Why​?

There are 2 main reasons:

1. You have low porosity hair. Low Porosity ​Hair is known to have difficulty to absorb ​moisture and any kind of hair products ​because of their tightly shut cuticles. We ​recommend you to color one more time ​for more obvious results. Make sure to use ​Auburn or Copper or Ruby.
   
2. You did not use enough boxes. 1 box of ​hair color is ideally enough for fine, ​shoulder ​length hair.
   

I have black hair. Can I use Dark ​Brow​n or Dark Red?

We do not advise you to do so because you ​may not see any color at all on top of your ​black hair when you use Dark Brown and ​Dark Red. These 2 colors are meant to be used ​on​ grey hair or bleached hair or vivid color hair.
